
“Shall the powers, duties, and functions of the city, through its director of transportation services, include establishment of a steel rail transit system?” VOTE NO on this ballot question. Honolulu taxpayers cannot afford to foot the $7 billion bill to pay for rail. If the charter amendment passes, Honolulu taxpayers will see a drastic property tax increase.
